Coronavirus Update and Guidelines

The state of the city today really reflects the heart of where we are at. Store shelves are being emptied, toilet paper is non-existent and people are stocking up on coffee. People are afraid. Afraid of what’s happening around the world, afraid of getting sick, afraid of dying, afraid of the unknown. When we are afraid, we tend to respond and react out of fear, we take actions that will protect us and those close to us whether or not they make sense or not. During these times we think quite a bit about ourselves, in reality, we become quite selfish. But we do not need to be afraid, we have a God that is greater and larger than all things who takes care of us and is the provider of all things (Matthew 6:25-34). In light of what is happening around us let us not act out of fear, but instead let us act out of love. First, our love is to be directed to our God and Savior who right now is loving us in so many ways and we return that love through praise, and worship no matter where we are. Secondly, we are to act in love to those around us, our friends, our families and our communities. A love that desires not to protect ourselves but those around us. To take that responsibility on and examine what it looks like to love and take action accordingly.

The safety of the community and the communities we are part of is our first priority. We will continue to update on how the church will be addressing this unique and challenging time.

We encourage you to be in constant prayer and constant worship. READ the Word and be in His presence.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” - John 14:27
